Christmas Day at Greenock care homeHC-One’s Merino Court care home in Greenock welcomed children from Whinhill nursery on Thursday 21st November for a fun-filled afternoon.

On the big day itself, the chef and kitchen team served up a Christmas Day feast for all to enjoy. Residents sat down to watch the Queen’s speech before enjoying a visit from Santa and live entertainment from Stewart McDonald.

A great day was had by all, Residents commented that it was lovely to celebrate Christmas as a community with friends and family.

Merino Court Home Manager, Heather Campbell-Hanratty said: “Christmas evokes so many special memories for our Residents and we strive to make the day as special as possible. Merino Court is their home and the day should be as special as any other Christmas they have celebrated.

“We also want to thank all of our dedicated staff who continued to provide quality care over the festive period. I know they all love spending time with the Residents and it is down to them that all enjoyed a happy Christmas Day.”
