Christmas is all around at Grimsby care home

Brooklands care home in Grimsby was delighted to host its annual Christmas party as Residents and Colleagues got into the festive spirit. 

Celebrations kicked off as Residents shared memories about Christmas growing up as they tucked into a delicious seasonal buffet, filled with sweet and savoury treats. 

The afternoon continued with a fantastic performance from a talented singer, as Residents showed off their best dance moves to a number of Christmas songs. 

Colleagues at Brooklands held a brilliant winter raffle, which saw each Resident claiming a special prize. 

For dinner, Residents had the choice of scampi and chips, a selection of sandwiches and a platter of delicious cakes, as they enjoyed yet more entertainment from another talented singer. 

Brooklands’ Christmas party went down a treat with Residents, as one person living at the home commented: “I had a fantastic day, thank you to everyone who helped make it so great.”
