Christmas Jumper Day is a success at Ilkeston care homeResidents and Colleagues at Victoria Park care home in Ilkeston put on their best festive knitwear to support Christmas Jumper Day 2019. 

Dressed in their favourite Christmas jumpers and T-shirts, Colleagues and Residents had their fingers crossed to be crowned winner of the best dressed competition. 

Edward, a Resident at Victoria Park, was chosen as the judge to pick the best dressed Colleague and Marie, the entertainer that day, selected the best dressed Resident. Edward was delighted to receive a prize for his efforts. 

Julie, Home Manager, pulled out all the stops with her homemade jumper, which had ‘Merry Christmas to all at Victoria Park’ written on the back. 

Julie said: “To see everybody come together and make such a fantastic effort is amazing, well done to all who got involved. This has been such a magical and happy time at Victoria Park.”
