Coffee and cake afternoon at Portree care home

Residents and staff at HC-One’s Home Farm care home in Portree, on the Isle of Skye, welcomed friends, family and members of the local community into the home on Friday 14th February for an afternoon of delicious treats and socialising.

Homemade cakes and warm beverages were served as Residents and guests chatted, a well-known story teller, George McPherson, attended the event and told lots of interesting folklore tales which was very interesting for everyone.

One Resident commented: “I could listen to George speak for hours, it’s amazing to listen to the tales of Skye and the ancient people.”
