Community gets in the Christmas spirit at Tetbury care homeIlsom House care home in Tetbury was delighted to welcome students from the local Avening Primary School for a wonderful Christmas carol performance.

The group of 17 students sang a number of traditional Christmas songs, as they finished the show off with their rendition of ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’.

Residents, Relatives and Colleagues at Ilsom House joined in with the performance as they sang and danced along.

Once the show had come to an end, Residents got to know the students over some lovely refreshments and a selection of delicious Christmas cookies, made especially by the home’s chef.

Dorothy, a Resident at Ilsom House, said: “I loved seeing the children so excited for Christmas!”

Tracey Connor, Home Manager, said: “It was lovely to see the children and Residents getting to know each other better. Today was such a success that we are already looking at another visit from the school in the New Year.”
