Couple celebrates diamond wedding anniversary at Arbroath care home

Derek Brechin, a Resident at HC-One’s Cairnie Lodge care home in Arbroath, Angus celebrated sixty years of marriage with his wife, Iris, on Thursday 3rd October.

The day was full of surprises for the couple, their son had organised a telegram from the Queen and the team at Cairnie Lodge had bought them flowers, chocolates and anniversary card.

Live entertainment was enjoyed by Mr and Mrs Brechin as they were surrounded by loved ones, fellow Residents and members of the team. Both Iris and Derek were overjoyed with their diamond wedding anniversary celebrations and they thanked everyone involved in making the day extra special.
