Crafty afternoon at Romford care home

Creativity was in the air at HC-One’s Chaseview care home as Residents enjoyed an arts and craft session together in preparation for Valentines day.

To prepare for the annual Valentines tea dance in the home, Residents and Colleagues began making table decorations and placemats, as well as a variety of other decorations to be placed in the lounges of the home.

Residents enjoyed getting involved with being creative, even more so that they became involved in the poetry competition held in the home as they sat and created their own poems.

Rhonda Ware, home manager, commented: “It’s been so lovely to see the Residents getting involved with our craft activities, Relatives have enjoyed lending their support and they all had a fun afternoon together.”
