Crafty afternoon for Aberpennar Court

Creativity was in the air at Aberpennar Court in Miskin, Mountain Ash, as Residents took part in craft activities to create their own calendars.

Residents cut out images from magazines in the home, some of animals or holiday pictures of places they had once been to, then stuck them into a collage to create their own calendar for 2020.

One Resident remarked at how lovely some of the pictures were to look at, and everyone enjoyed making the decisions of which pictures to choose for their calendars.

Home manager, Alison Durbridge, commented: “The Residents have enjoyed looking at their finished calendars, it’s been lovely to see how some of the pictures they chose have brought back fond memories of their lives.”
