Disco fever as Hyde care home hosts Christmas party

The Sycamores care home in Hyde, Tameside was delighted to host a festive celebration for Residents and their loved ones at the home’s Christmas party. 

A local DJ, who is the son of a Resident at The Sycamores, played a number of all-time favourite festive hits for everyone to sing and dance along to. 

Kitchen staff at The Sycamores organised a delicious buffet, filled with sweet and savoury treats, as Residents received a visit from Santa, who delivered presents around the home. 

Sheila, a Resident at The Sycamores, said: “It was a lovely day, a lot of hard work went into the planning and it was a great party.”

The Deputy Manager at The Sycamores added: “We had such a wonderful party atmosphere! The Residents had a brilliant time and were very high in the Christmas spirit.”
