Duffield care home donate coffee morning proceeds to MacmillanBankwood nursing home held their very own coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan cancer support.

Many of the Residents, Relatives and Colleagues attended the coffee morning at the home, where the Residents played different games and of course enjoyed lots of cake! The Residents really got involved with playing the games and it was the highlight of the day.

Lisa, a chef at the home, baked lots of different cakes for everybody to enjoy, including chocolate muffins, carrot cake, egg custard tarts and even bought a birthday cake to tie in celebrating a member of staffs’ birthday too.

Over the last 3 months the home has raised £42 for Macmillan and are continuing to try and raise more each month.
