Dundee care home Residents attend community Christmas partyResidents from HC-One’s Balcarres care home in Broughty Ferry attended their first Christmas party of the festive season on Thursday 12th December at St Luke’s Church.

Yvonne, Joyce, Lorraine, Ian, Sheila and Margaret were invited to the Christmas party at St Luke’s Church, which hosts a monthly CafĂ© of Memories for members of the local community. Residents were treated to festive performances by Grove Academy pupils, a brass band, a choir and violinists, followed by seasonal beverages and nibbles.

A great time was had by all, Joyce commented that she has such a good day, she didn’t want it to end while Margaret complimented the talented children on their amazing performance.

Balcarres Home Manager, Lynn McLean said: “It was lovely to see the smiles on our Resident’s faces when they returned, thank you to St Luke’s Church for hosting such a wonderful festive party.”
