Durham care home Residents enjoy visits from four-legged friendResidents at HC-One’s St Margaret’s care home in Durham enjoyed a visit from Norman the Newfoundland on Tuesday 5th November.

Despite his larger size, Norman is a very gentle and loving dog, who has formed strong bonds with a lot of the Residents and team members at St Margaret’s. Everyone looks forward to his visits and enjoys feeding him treats while giving him lots of cuddles.

Norman and his owner visit the home on a regular basis and share stories with the Residents about Norman’s personality and his favourite walks in the area.

St Margaret’s Home Manager, Katherine Swainston said: “Norman is a lovely dog and provides so much comfort and happiness for our Residents, his visits are a very popular event in the diary at St Margaret’s.”
