East Grinstead care home Residents celebrate chocolate week

Chocolate was on everyone’s minds at HC-One’s Charters Court care home recently, as Residents and Colleagues celebrated chocolate week.

A coffee morning was held within the home with a chocolate theme, complete with a chocolate cake and a chocolate themed quiz.

Residents enjoyed themselves as they learnt facts about chocolate, and spoke with one another about their favourite types of chocolate growing up.

Everyone enjoyed themselves so much that they hope to do this again another time soon.

Melanie Burgess, home manager, commented: “everyone has loved spending today learning about and enjoying chocolate together. We’ve learnt some interesting facts to top off our chocolate-filled day.”
