Eckington care home takes a walk on the wild side at Yorkshire Wildlife ParkApril Park care home in Eckington treated Residents to an animalistic adventure as they visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is the UK’s number one walk-through wildlife adventure and works closely with Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation, a charity committed to the conservation and welfare of animals across the globe.

Residents were joined by their loved ones for the exciting trip, as they started the day by meeting the meerkats, which are Audrey’s favourite animals.

As they continued their walk around the park, Residents admired the many species on site, including tigers, monkeys and giraffes.

The day was rounded off with a coffee and cake at the park’s cafĂ©, as Residents discussed their favourite moments from the day.

One Resident commented: “We loved every second of the visit! The tigers were by far my favourite.”
