Elf day fun at Callands care homeResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Callands care home got into the festive spirit as they each celebrated an ‘elf day’ at the home.

Everyone dressed as elves as the home held a Christmas fayre for all to get involved with, complete with a tombola, cake sale and a raffle. Attendees could also enjoy the various food stalls with hot meat baguettes, mulled wine and hot chocolate.

Entertainment was provided by a live performer singing many a favourite Christmas song, with some Colleagues joining in to entertain Residents as dancing elves.

Home manager, Joanne Goodwin, commented: “Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed themselves this afternoon, dressing up for the day has amused everyone, including the Residents who just love to get into the Christmas spirit.”
