Fangtastic celebrations at Stockport care homeCelebrations were in full swing at Appleton Lodge care home in Bredbury, Stockport as Residents enjoyed a spooktacular party for Halloween.

Residents enjoyed preparing for the party throughout the day, as they took part in a Halloween-themed arts and crafts session and created some fantastic autumnal masterpieces.

The afternoon continued with entertainment from performer Sam Jones, as Residents enjoyed a variety of music from different genres and even sang along to the ‘Time Warp’ with Colleagues at the home.

At the party, Residents were joined by their loved ones at the party as they enjoyed a selection of sweet and savoury snacks, including mummified sausages and spooky cupcakes.

Some local trick or treaters even stopped by the home to say hello to the Residents and show off their amazing fancy dress costumes.

The celebrations were a great success for all at Appleton Lodge, as one Resident commented: “I really enjoy colouring it keeps me occupied and keeps my hands moving.”

A fellow Resident added: “Sam was amazing, I loved doing the Time Warp with the staff.”
