Festive cheer is all around as Sheffield care home welcomes new furry friend

Residents at Alexander Court care home in Sheffield were delighted to welcome a new furry friend to the home as they prepared for the Christmas season. 

Leo, an adorable pony from Lightwood Ponies, visited the home dressed head to hoof in Christmas attire to brighten up the Residents’ day.

Anne, one of the lovely Residents living at Alexander Court, even took Leo on a walk around the home to visit fellow people living there. 

Many people loved meeting Leo, as they loved stroking him and gave him lots of cuddles. Resident Keith said: “Leo’s visit made my day”, while May jokingly asked whether she could keep her new furry friend.
