Festive fun as Wigston care home celebrates Christmas

Festive cheer was all around at Cedar Court care home in Wigston as Colleagues organised the home’s annual Christmas party. 

Taking place on Christmas Jumper Day 2019, Residents and their loved ones put on their best festive knitwear to party the day away together. 

Local entertainers, Nice and Easy, came in to perform for Residents, who gave the show a great round of applause. 

To add to the festivities, Cedar Court also hosted its Christmas Fete on the same day, which raised a fantastic £30 from the home’s tombola and cake stall. 

The day was rounded off with a delicious buffet, filled with sweet and savoury seasonal treats for all to enjoy. 

One Resident commented: “I love Nice and Easy, they were really good and sang some amazing Christmas songs.”
