Festive fun at Consett care home

Christmas cheer filled HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett as Residents, team members, friends and family came together for a festive party on Monday 23rd December.

As a special thank you to the hard working team at Greenways Court, Home Manager Tina Ayton organised a Christmas party on Monday 23rd December. Residents were joined by team members and their family members for a festive celebration with live entertainment from DJ Chris Appleton and party games for all to enjoy.

Tina also had another surprise for the team with a special award from the Relatives of a former Resident for the kind, person-centred care they all delivered for the family’s loved one in their years living at Greenways Court.

A great time was had by all, Residents commented that it was lovely to see the team enjoying the festivities with their loved ones just before Christmas Day.

Tina Ayton, Home Manager at Greenways Court said: “Christmas evokes so many special memories for our Residents and we strive to make the day as special as possible. 

“We also want to thank all of our dedicated staff who continue to provide quality care over the festive period. I know they all love spending time with the Residents and it is down to them that we can all enjoy a happy Christmas Day.”
