Festive fun day as Mossley care home celebrates Elf Day

Residents at Sandon care home in Mossley, Tameside were delighted to put on their best festive attire to celebrate Elf Day 2019. 

Colleagues at Sandon prepared the care home for Elf Day, as they decorated living areas with red and green bunting and balloons. 

Christmas cheer was all around as Residents sang and danced along to a number of festive hits, with everyone joining in with the 12 Days of Christmas. 

The day was made even more special as Colleagues and fellow Residents celebrated Laura’s birthday, as she opened her thoughtful cards and gifts from her loved ones. 

The day was a great success for Residents and Colleagues alike, as Peggy said: “I really enjoyed seeing the staff dressed up as elves. It was a lovely day!”
