Fish and chip supper for Walsall care home ResidentsResidents at HC-One’s Ash Grange care home were pleased to enjoy a fish and chip supper as they made the decision to visit their local fish eatery to order their favourite meals.

Colleagues joined the Residents as they all enjoyed their meals, enjoying the novelty of eating the dishes out of the fish and chip shop boxes as they compared it to the days of eating their chips from newspaper.

One Resident remarked at how beautiful her food tasted, whilst another said that his fish was large and he enjoyed eating it all.

Anita Horton, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed their fish supper. Eating meals like this every once in a while is a wonderful way to spark conversation about the food that Residents would most enjoy eating whilst they were growing up.”
