Flower arranging brightens up the day at Colton care homeColton Lodges care home in Colton, Leeds brightened up the day for Residents as they took part in a flower arranging activity.

Residents’ flower arranging skills blossomed as they learned how to place the beautiful plants into an aesthetical arrangement.

As they selected their favourite blooms from the flower selection, which included red and pink roses, white daisies and tulips, Residents worked hard to arrange them into vases.

The vases, which were lined with pebbles and gemstones, were filled with the flowers to be displayed in Residents’ rooms.

Residents also enjoyed chatting, singing and eating a slice of delicious cake as they took part in the activity, as Flora commented: “This has been the best day ever.”
