Fundraising success as Hull care home raise money to support staff memberKesteven Grange care home organised a fundraising event to raise money for Glynis Banks, a member of the housekeeping team at the home who was sadly diagnosed with cancer.

Glynis has worked at Kesteven care home since 2010 and is a valued and much loved member of the team by both Colleagues and Residents, so it was lovely to get everybody involved on the day.

The event, organised by wellbeing co-ordinator Mandy Gallagher, was a great success, raising a fantastic £715 in total! The money was divided between Glynis and the oncology unit at the local hospital.

One of the Residents commented ‘Glynis is a really lovely lady. We hope she is on the road to recovery and coming back to the home again very soon!’
