Gardening fun for Burntwood care home ResidentHC-One’s Chaseview care home were delighted as they were able to grant a Resident’s gardening wish recently.

Dennis, a Resident at the home, is a keen gardener, and made a wish on the home’s wishing wall, to be able to plant bulbs in the home’s garden.

Due to the current cold weather, this would prove difficult, so Colleagues decided to bring the garden to Dennis, much to his delight, as he was able to plant a variety of bulbs and tend to them indoors, with the hope to transfer them outside once the weather improved.

Dennis was so pleased and remarked at how lovely it was to be able to do this activity.

Jennifer Khadoo, home manager, commented: “We are delighted to have granted this wish for Dennis, he was so pleased and excited.”
