Gateshead care home hosts Christmas MarketChristmas cheer filled HC-One’s Springfield House care home in Low Fell, Gateshead on Sunday 8th December when Residents welcomed friends, family and members of the local community to the home’s annual Christmas Market.

Springfield House opened its doors to the local community for a festive market, selling a variety of gifts including perfume and sweet treats. Seasonal beverages and nibbles were served and everyone enjoyed a visit from Santa himself, bringing a couple of early presents for the children.

A great time was had by all, one Resident commented: “It was lovely to see so many people having a wonderful time, I loved browsing the stalls and spending some quality time with my loved ones.”

Kay Rudd, Home Manager at Springfield House commented: “Thank you to everyone made our Christmas Market such a memorable for day for all who attended. Everyone was in good spirits and enjoying what was on offer and we are delighted at the turnout.

“The generosity of our local community helped us raise over £750 for the Resident’s Comfort Fund.”
