Glasgow care home Residents enjoy intergenerational Christmas mealSix Residents from HC-One’s Eastbank care home in Shettleston, Glasgow, attended a Christmas dinner at local secondary school, St Andrews in December.

Tommy Buchan, Jimmy Devlin. Jean Connor, Roddy Cherrie, Tam Wardrop and Tommy Divine attended St Andrews school where they welcomed by pupils, everyone enjoyed a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings followed by live entertainment and a raffle. 

Students also surprised the Residents with their very own gift, which brought a smile to everyone’s face. A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting on how lovely it was to celebrate the festive season with so many wonderful children.

Salve Rull, Home Manager at Eastbank said: “Thank you to the students and teachers at St Andrews for spreading some festive cheer and putting a smile on the faces of our Residents.”
