Goole care home supports Alzheimer’s Society with festive fundraiserWindsor Court care home in Goole was delighted to raise a fantastic £23.65 for Alzheimer’s Society as Colleagues and Residents celebrated Elf Day 2019.

Colleagues at Windsor Court welcomed Residents, Relatives and members of the local community to join in with the fundraising activities, as they put on their best elf attire to celebrate the day.

Elf Day takes place in December each year as a way of spreading festive cheer while raising money for Alzheimer’s Society to help people affected by dementia.

Windsor Court was delighted to take part in the fundraising, as staff organised a cake competition and sold the sweet treats to guests throughout their coffee morning.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the day, as Residents Brenda, Lillian and Peter said: “We had a lovely morning, the cakes were lovely.”

Pat Owen, Home Manager at Windsor Court, said: “We were delighted to raise such a fantastic amount of money for Alzheimer’s Society, thank you to everyone who donated and took part.”
