Green fingered Alloa care home Resident recognised in HC-One Gardening CompetitionAlison Fleming, a Resident at HC-One’s The Orchard care home in Tullibody was presented with a ‘Highly Commended’ in the Green Fingered Gardner Award category as part of the HC-One company-wide gardening competition.

The Orchard entered into the Most Improved Garden category and put Alison forward for the Green Fingered Gardener category in the HC-One Gardening Competition, which is open to all HC-One care homes in England, Scotland and Wales.

Everyone was delighted when it was announced that Alison was being recognised with a prestigious ‘Highly Commended’ certificate, to make it extra special for Alison the team organised a surprise event where Alison was presented with her award, cheque and bouquet of flowers in front of her family and friends. 

Alison was overjoyed to receive her award and thanked the team for making it even more special by inviting her loved ones to be there.
