Green fingered Residents enjoy afternoon of gardening at Mitcham care homeHC-One’s Fieldway care home Residents were delighted as they enjoyed an indoor gardening session together.

Residents came together as they planted seeds to grow a variety of beautifully coloured flowers and plants. Everyone then enjoyed a selection of biscuits and warm beverages as they had a discussion over what they would like to grow next.

Currently, Residents are growing cress, and they are intrigued to see how it grows over the weeks to come, with some already saying they would like to eat it once fully grown.

The Residents enjoyed themselves so much, with one commenting: “I am looking forward to seeing my pot of seeds grow beautifully, it’s such an exciting activity.”
