Grosvenor Park care home Residents welcome Jaws and ClawsResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Grosvenor Park care home were pleased to welcome Jaws and Claws back to the home, with a variety of exotic animals.

The animals included a bearded dragon, giant African snails, three species’ of Boa, and a tarantula, which the Residents were fascinated by.

Representative, Phil, gave each Resident the opportunity to handle the animals, as he talks to each of them about the differences of each animal and their habitats. Residents thoroughly enjoy these visits from Phil as they remark at how it feels as though the zoo is visitin the home, and they enjoy learning about new animals during each visit.

A great afternoon was had by all, one Resident in particular, is extremely fond of snakes, and so each time Phil visits, he is always delighted to see the snakes he brings along.

Jackie O’Callaghan, home manager, commented: “Everyone really looks forward to these visits, we can’t wait to welcome Phil back to the home again soon.”
