Guisborough care home supports Children in NeedHC-One’s Park House care home in Guisborough raised funds for BBC’s Children in Need on Friday 15th November.

BBC Children in Need hosts a yearly appeal night where people across the UK raise money which is donated to projects for disadvantaged children and young people. Children in Need is currently supporting over 3,000 charities and projects throughout the UK.

The team arranged a Children in Need coffee with Pudsey bear cupcakes, biscuits and a themed raffle. Everyone who attended wore Pudsey ears and friendship dog, Poppy even wore Pudsey ears during her visit. During the afternoon, Residents enjoyed live entertainment from local singer, Laurie Bennett with some choosing to sing and dance along to some Children in Need classic hits.

Park House Home Manager, Julie Woods said: “Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us to raise awareness of this worthy cause, we raised over £65 which will go towards helping disadvantaged children throughout the UK.”
