Halloween fun at Bridport care homeResidents and Relatives at HC-One’s St. James’ Park care home were delighted as they got into the halloween spirit to create some different craft items in preparation for a halloween party.

Everyone came together as they made pumpkin lanterns, using a variety of seeds and nuts so the pumpkins could act as bird feeders also.

During the party itself, Relatives and children dressed in halloween costumes as they enjoyed a dance competition, before everyone enjoyed a buffet lunch consisting of themed cakes and treats.

The home was decorated in spooky style and themed music was played for all to dance along to.

Helen Ganfield, home manager, commented: “Residents have thoroughly enjoyed themselves today, they had such a wonderful time at the party, and interacting with the children. We look forward to the next event.”
