Hamilton care home celebrates Valentine’s DayResidents at HC-One’s Douglas View care home in Hamilton celebrated Valentine’s Day with a romantic lunch followed by live entertainment and a visit from local football team, Hamilton Academical.

Love was in the air at Douglas View as the team transformed the home’s café into a romantic restaurant for Residents and their special someone to enjoy a meal together, afterwards, everyone enjoyed live entertainment from Stephen Flynn.

Later in the day, players from local football team, Hamilton Academical visited Douglas View to hand out red roses to Residents, everyone was pleased to receive a beautiful rose and commented on much they enjoyed spending the day celebrating with their loved ones. 

Lyndsey Barnes, Douglas View Home Manager said: “I am pleased we were able to help our Residents create some wonderful memories and celebrate Valentine’s Day.”
