Happy 100th Birthday to Olive at Ilkeston care homeOlive Holding celebrated her 100th birthday today at Ladywood care home at Ilkeston.

Olive has been living a long and full life and it was great to find out all about her past. Olive spent her working life as a manager of a Co-op store and also used to enjoy time as a land army girl and even driving tractors.

Olive shared a loving relationship with her now late husband Harold, and also spent plenty of time with her nephew Lance and his wife Beryl. When spending time away from family, Olive loved to get lost in her favourite hobby of sewing and making clothes in her spare time.

As the Resident didn’t want a big fuss, Ladywood care home Colleagues and Olive’s family did everything to make the day special just for her, complete with a telegram from the Queen and enjoying a spot of afternoon tea.
