Harefield care home Resident celebrates 75th birthdayCelebrations were enjoyed by all at HC-One’s The Harefield care home, as Resident Jean Witta, turned 75 years of age.

Born in Margate, Jean worked in a number of roles throughout her life, including as a film librarian, in a cinema and also as a customer assistant in Sainsbury’s.

Throughout her life, she enjoyed dancing and travelling around. She married husband Wolfgang, and they share two children together – Gary and Janet.

To celebrate this wonderful occasion, a party was held within the home, attended by Relatives and other Residents, as the room was decorated with banners and balloons, whilst the kitchen baked a birthday cake for Jean and her family to enjoy, for everyone to sing ‘happy birthday’.

Home manager, Mary Nadeem, commented: “we are so pleased to see Jean enjoying her birthday with family and friends. We hope she has had a wonderful day.”
