Harrogate care home Residents enjoy fang-tastic feastResidents at HC-One’s Grosvenor House care home in Harrogate enjoyed a spook-tacular Halloween lunch on Tuesday 29th October.

Everyone gathered in the dining room for a delicious meal with a scarily good twist, Residents were served Dracula’s stake and witches brew (braised steak and gravy) with Frankenstein’s fingers and sinister skulls (asparagus and vegetable fritters).

For dessert, the choice was between spider’s nests, a meringue shell with fruit and a chocolate web or death by chocolate, a rich chocolate gateau. Residents wore witches hats throughout their ghostly feast and shared their favourite Halloween memories.

Everyone had a wonderful meal, one Resident commented: “I loved the Halloween-themed menu, it was delicious and entertaining from start to finish.”

Susan Nutter, Home Manager at Grosvenor House said: “What a wonderful idea, thank you to my Colleagues for organising such a lovely meal for our Residents.”
