Hartlepool care home hosts annual Christmas fayre

A sprinkle of Christmas cheer filled the corridors at HC-One’s Sheraton Court care home in Hartlepool as Residents welcomed in the festive season with friends, family and members of the team on Saturday 30th November.

Sheraton Court opened its doors to members of the community, selling homemade gifts such as, cards, knitwear and hampers whilst offering seasonal beverages and nibbles for all to enjoy.

Residents and guests browsed the stalls to find the perfect gift for their loved ones whilst chatting and sharing stories. A great day was had by all, with Residents commenting on how lovely it was to see the home filled with festive spirit and smiling faces.

Carole Thomson, Home Manager at Sheraton Court said: “Thank you to everyone who attended our fayre, it has really got everyone at Sheraton Court counting down the days till Christmas.

“Through people’s support and generosity, we also managed to raise over £500 for the Resident’s Comfort Fund.”
