Hartlepool care home Residents welcome Teddy the donkeyResidents at HC-One’s Sheraton Court care home in Hartlepool were delighted to welcome Teddy, the Christmas donkey on Monday 9th December.

Everyone gathered to give Teddy a warm welcome upon his arrival, he was wearing a special Christmas outfit which Residents commented made him look even sweeter. He was an instant hit, with everyone enjoying giving him lots of attention and asking about his behaviour and diet.

A great time was had by all, one Resident even asked if Teddy could stay at Sheraton Court forever, everyone agreed that they would like for Teddy to visit again in 2020.

Carole Thomson, Home Manager at Sheraton Court said: “I am pleased that our Residents enjoyed meeting Teddy, animals can have such a positive impact on the physical and mental wellbeing of people.”
