Hebburn care home Residents record breaking cream tea partyResidents from HC-One’s Hebburn Court care home in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear attended The National Lottery Community Fund’s record breaking event on Wednesday 23rd October.

The largest cream tea party was attended by 1,054 people, including Residents and team members from Hebburn Court, and was achieved by The National Lottery Community Fund (UK) at the Sage Gateshead on 23rd October. 

The event was organised to celebrate the National Lottery's 25th Birthday and is now listed in the Guinness World Records.

One Resident commented: “What a lovely day, it was amazing to be part of a record breaking event and see so many people creating happy memories together.”

Hebburn Court Home Manager, John Lafferty said: “It is great that our Residents were able to be part of something so unique and special, everyone had a wonderful time.”
