Henley care home Residents enjoy pancake day funResidents enjoyed cheering at HC-One’s Thamesfield care home as Colleagues took part in a pancake day race on the home’s grounds.

A group of Colleagues took part in the competition as they each held their own pan and pancake, tossing them in the air and racing one another to be the first to complete the course.

As last year’s winner did not take part, the Colleagues felt a sense of relief as they each would have a better chance of winning.

The competition ran high as everyone did their best to be the winner, with the home’s chef, Adrian, coming out on top.

One Resident enjoyed cheering the Colleagues on, as she remarked: “It’s been great fun, it was lovely to see the competitive spirit of everyone involved.”
