Hinckley care home welcomes Zoolab for animalistic adventure

The Willows care home in Hinckley was delighted to welcome Zoolab to the home to provide Residents with an exciting, animalistic adventure. 

The friendly representative from Zoolab brought with her a variety of exotic creatures from across the animal kingdom, including giant African snails, millipedes and even some rats.

Residents loved getting up close to the animals, with some even plucking up the courage to stroke or hold them. 

During the activity, Residents were also overjoyed to hear all about the creatures’ diets, habitats and lifespans, with many asking questions about each species. 

One Resident commented: “Look at his legs, they’re so tickly!” as she bravely held the millipede in the palm of her hand.
