Holmfirth care home enjoys animalistic adventureResidents at White Rose House care home in Holmfirth, Huddersfield were delighted to take part in an animalistic experience as Zoolab visited the home.

The visit involved Residents enjoying a face-to-face encounter with many species from the animal kingdom, including a giant African snail, a corn snake, a tree frog, rats and many more.

The experience was enjoyed by everyone who took part, with many Residents asking questions about the animals’ habitats, diets and lifespans.

After the session with Zoolab, Residents enjoyed a selection of tea and biscuits as they discussed their favourite moments from the day.

One Resident commented: “I loved holding and touching the animals, I can’t wait for their next visit.”
