Hoot of a time at Admirals ReachHC-One’s Admirals Reach care home Residents were delighted to receive a visit from a local individual as they brought along some owls for an animal therapy session.

Residents and their Relatives enjoyed as they were able to see the owls up close, as well as have the opportunity to handle the animals, remarking at how much they enjoyed stroking the owls feathers.

Everyone fully enjoyed the afternoon as they were able to also learn a variety of interesting facts about the animals.

Lal Mangalam, home manager, commented: “The Residents have really enjoyed this afternoon, one Resident was not feeling too happy this morning, but this visit really cheered them up so we are glad that it has had such a wonderful impact in the home.”
