Housekeeping activities at OaklandsResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Oaklands care home were excited as the activities schedule was expanded to include housekeeping activities.

Enjoyment was had by all as each Resident chose to take on a specific role in the home, with some opting to clean the windows, and others chose to tidy the hallway.

Everyone actively supported one another as they spoke about the cleaning they would do in their own homes, and this helped bring back some fond memories that they enjoyed.

The afternoon was complete with everyone enjoying a warm drink and a selection of homemade biscuits.

Stephanie Massey, home manager, commented: “Everyone has loved having fun together this afternoon, memories have been shared and laughter had by all.”
