Intergenerational fun at Greenock care home

Residents at HC-One’s Merino Court care home in Greenock welcomed children from Whinhill nursery on Thursday 21st November for a fun-filled afternoon.

Merino Court and Whinhill nursery have recently arranged an intergenerational programme which enables the younger and older generations to come together to create happy memories and form friendships.

The group enjoyed a variety of activities on Thursday 21st November, including, singing, dancing, skittles and arts and crafts. Both Residents and children enjoy the sessions, one Resident commented that it’s lovely to see the little ones and find out about their favourite things to do and what they are asking Santa to bring them for Christmas.

Merino Court Home Manager, Heather Campbell-Hanratty said: “I am delighted we have established such a wonderful relationship with Whinhill nursey, the children are lovely and their visits mean so much to our Residents.”
