Inverness care home recognised for healthy living with NHS Scotland awardHC-One’s Cradlehall care home Inverness is celebrating having recently been awarded a prestigious Healthy Living Award by NHS Scotland, demonstrating that the care home is working to the national standards of good practice.

To celebrate the home’s recent achievement, the team organised a ‘healthy living taster session’ for Residents, friends, family and fellow team members to enjoy. The event included a selection of healthy snacks and drinks, including, flavoured water, smoothies, oatcakes and much more.

A themed quiz was arranged with an exciting healthy prize for the winner, the event also provided the team with the opportunity to explain all of the positive changes that have been implement to promote a healthier lifestyle for all Residents living in Cradlehall.

Cradlehall Home Manager, Lynn Darge said: “I am so pleased that we have achieved a Healthy Living Award, it’s great to see so many team members and Residents so passionate about making healthier lifestyle choices.”
