Irvine care home Residents visit local nurseryResidents from HC-One’s Fullarton care home in Irvine, Aryshire, visited a local nursery on Thursday 20th February to spend some quality time with the children.

Children from the local nursery have been visiting Residents at Fullarton for the last ten months and extended an invitation for the Residents to come and spend some time at the nursery.

Two ladies from Fullarton visited the children for an afternoon of chatting and taking part in different activities, after the visit, Residents commented on how much fun they had with the children and are looking forward to seeing them again during their next visit to Fullarton.

Graham Kelly, Home Manager at Fullarton said: “Having a strong community link with our local nursery helps build intergenerational bonds, it’s heart-warming to see the interaction and the friendships between our Residents and the children.”
