King of rock ‘n’ roll visits Tameside care homeResidents at The Sycamores care home in Hyde, Tameside were delighted to welcome the King of rock ‘n’ roll in celebration of Elvis’ birthday.

As the Elvis tribute act entered the building, Residents gathered in the lounge and admired his jewelled, white suit and gelled-back quiff.

The performance certainly had Residents ‘all shook up’, as they sang and danced along to a number of all-time favourite hits with family and friends.

Once the show had come to an end, the afternoon was rounded off with tea and biscuits.

Eric, a Resident at The Sycamores, said: “Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. He’s good, so good.”
