King of rock and roll visits Daneside MewsIt was party time at HC-One’s Daneside Mews care home when the home held a fundraiser in aid of the Residents’ comfort fund.

The event included a raffle, tombola, and other exciting activities, alongside entertainment which was provided by an Elvis tribute act.

Residents and their Relatives attended the event, enjoying the music that was sang by the performer as he played their favourite Elvis tunes, with a buffet lunch also being provided to all.

The event was enjoyed by all as the home raised a wonderful £1150 towards the Residents’ comfort fund.

Nicola Blackwood, home manager, commented: “The event was well attended and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We are so grateful for the amount raised and look forward to hopefully having the performer return to the home.”
