Laindon care home Residents enjoy gardening funHC-One’s Oaklands care home Residents enjoyed an afternoon of indoor gardening as they each took part in growing cress.

Each Resident planted their own seeds into empty yoghurt pots as they watered them and placed them in windows of the home, with some Residents opting to decorate their pots.

Everyone is looking forward to tracking the growth of their plants over the weeks, as they spoke about remembering to do the same activity during their school days.

Stephanie Massey, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed today, doing a task that brings back such great memories is always a good idea as Residents enjoy reminiscing.”
